Pack Prints Return and Refund Policy

This Return and Refund Policy applies to Pack Prints products related issues, reprints, and claims. When you place an order in our shop, you are considered to have read and agreed to this policy. This policy is incorporated into our Terms and Conditions and applies to all products and services offered by Pack Prints.

As all items from Pack Prints are made to order and tailored to customers’ requests, the return and refund guidelines are carefully established to serve both parties well in the event of an issue.

Reporting Product Defects and Faults

Customers should check their orders upon receipt. Pack Prints must be notified of any disability, damage, or error in printing that reasonably should be detected by the Original Buyer, no more than two/2 business days after discovery. No claims will be honored after this period.

By “defect,” means manufacturing errors or printing mistakes committed by Pack Prints, such as print errors, incorrect cuts, and production errors that differ from what was originally approved on the specification sheet. Defects are not considered to include products that meet customer-approved artwork, incorrect file submissions, or design.

Pack Prints conducts rigorous quality checks before sending to the customer, and the products meet approved specifications. But if there is ever an ultra-rare confirmed defect, the company’s only liability is to sublimate/print the affected items. No partial or full refunds will be issued for defective products.

Proof of Defect Requirements

Customers must send clear photographic evidence of the defect to request a reprint. Photographs must provide visible evidence of the fault so our quality control team can assess whether it was not a natural occurrence during production.

Photos must be received within 7 days of  your order. Photography, scanning, or sample shipping, if required to shoot and send images, is charged to the customer at an additional cost.

Claims without adequate proof presented within the time limit can be denied. Pack Prints may request additional documentation or physical samples if reasonable, to confirm the defect.

Product Return Conditions

To obtain a reprint, the buyer must return 99% of the products supplied. Goods returned must be sent to us within ten (10) business days of delivery.

Items must be returned in their original, as-shipped condition, with all original packaging. Items damaged by misuse, mishandling, or poor maintenance will not be reprinted. If the quantity is not returned (at least 50%) or not returned within the 30-day time frame, Pack Prints reserves the right to refuse reprinting in its entirety.

Non-Refundable Charges and Urgent Orders

Rush, Quick, and expedited orders are subject to a price increase. These fees  help subsidize production resources and expedite processing. All fees related to expedited or rush orders are absolutely non-refundable for any reason, including but not limited to delays, dissatisfaction, and defects, unless otherwise agreed in writing by Pack Prints.

Shipping, duties, taxes, proofing fees, hard proof costs, design services fee, and other charges from third parties are not refundable.

Proofs and Order Approval

When placing orders, the customer must complete and accept a form specifying the products and services. This form features the final artwork and box dimensions, materials and coatings, add-ons, printing type, finishing options, and any special instructions.

It is the customer’s responsibility to review all information in the spec sheet before approval. After approval, treat it as a confirmed order and begin production.

Pack Prints is not responsible for any errors, omissions, or misunderstandings caused by the customer’s failure to read and review the color specifications sheet carefully. Any additional requirements that are not expressly stated therein and accepted in writing shall not form part of the order. Turnaround time begins upon approval of the proof and the specification sheet.

Color Accuracy Disclaimer

Color accuracy is one of the most commonly misapplied aspects in custom printing. For this reason, Pack Prints adheres to industry standards and provides the following estimates. Digital proofs on screen are intended to show placement, layout, design, and text accuracy. Please note that the color may not match the actual item due to variations in monitor display.

Patch Prints is not responsible for color matching across multiple orders from different printers, due to limitations in printing and production processes and batch runs. A slight to moderate color shift is expected and acceptable for commercial printing.

Duo-Tone and Gradient Matching

While Pack Prints makes every effort to match gradient density or color-to-color, exact matches cannot be guaranteed across multiple orders or reorders.

Customers who require high color accuracy should request match proofs or test prints before producing the final job. Positive proofs are produced during the printing process, and materials can be provided at an additional cost.

Color proofs are guaranteed only when requested and approved hard copies have been ordered and charged for before final printing. Without hard proof, we will not reprint or issue a refund for any color variation.

Effect of Lamination and Finishing

Printing itself may also be subject to various print effects, such as lamination, coatings, varnishes, foiling, embossing, or debossing, which can substantially change printed colours.

Note: Pack prints is not responsible for color changes due to lamination. By accepting the spec sheet, customers agreed to the visual effects of the finishing process on the product’s appearance.

Final Product Color Responsibility

The printed color may differ from the final proof due to variations in settings, software, and hardware. Pack Prints does not change color values unless otherwise agreed upon.

Customers who provide any files hereby acknowledge that strict color matching is not possible and they agree that Pack Prints is not liable for color variations between submitted materials, works displayed on-screen, or printing output due to a computer system’s monitor’s limitations in preserving particular colors. No reprints, refunds, or credits are provided for color variations within industry-accepted tolerances.

Exclusions From Return and Refund

The following weather-related scenarios do not qualify for a return, refund, or reprinting:

  • Errors of spelling, grammar, or punctuation provided by the customer
  • Font substitutes or formatting in artwork approved by us
  • Disrupted colors are supported as only colors without solid proof
  • Size variations within industry tolerance
  • Damage caused after delivery
  • Flat shipped with assembly required
  • Shipping carriers or customs delay

Decision Authority

All returns, reprints, and refunds are determined at Pack Prints’ discretion after a review of the inside. All decisions of the company shall be final and binding. Pack Prints may deny any claim that does not meet the requirements of this policy.

Policy Updates

Pack Prints is not responsible for any loss or damage that may occur if the Site is temporarily unavailable. Pack Prints reserves the right to amend this Return and Refund Policy at any time without notice. The version posted on the website at the time of sale will apply to orders. It is recommended that customers regularly review this policy.
